Who Is This For?

This is for the civic innovators, ESG leaders, and technical architects who believe that equity must be engineered into the foundation of our AI future, not just added as an afterthought.
See more about Algorithmic Erasure, a term Jacky So coined, in the Data With Style™ Glossary.

Honestly, I didn’t even know if anyone heard me on 96.3 KKOB.

It wasn’t until Monday lunchtime that someone called me over to their table and told me they really liked the interview. I was so confused because I’m like, “What interview??” Haha and then I realized, “OH! You heard me live on the radio Saturday at 8:30 am!”

I was so happy they heard the segment–especially because I hadn’t heard it myself yet.

I expressed how they were going to post the segment later and I’d love to hear it, because I don’t remember what I said. I gave the table of folks a super duper abbreviated synopsis of what the discussion centered around so that everyone could at least have the context of this chat.

Luckily, Ryan (husband) was there to capture some BTS for me.

Now, I’m happy to share that you can hear it for yourself! 🥳

About this episode

The show is The Weekend with Terry Travis on KKOB 96.3

Terry is a wonderful host–super engaging and dialed in. The format is two 10-minute segments with commercials in between, and we had so much fun off air that I wasn’t sure exactly which parts were then on air.

What I love so much about Albuquerque is the sense that people belong here. You belong here because you are a human and we see you. You can have the most random, in-depth conversations with folks you have never met before simply because you are here in the same space together. And the chats can be about real things, not superficial go-to talking points.

So the reason why I was even booked to go live on air is because Jerry, the Producer, and I met at Costco and chatted about solar generators and these portable power supplies I’ve been following for years.

I shared with him about FUSE and my work, and he thought it’s exactly the kind of topics Terry would love on her show.

The rest–is history! Or herstory. 😏

Listen Live Because I’ll Be Back

I’ll be returning to KKOB with some friends soon to keep our movement going:

  • April 11 at 8:30 am MT: Join me and Vicki Apodaca + Paul Zelizer of NM Tech Talks to discuss why New Mexico is a Southwest power player. We’ll be talking about the Desert Dev Lab hackathon and more! Sign up here.
  • April 25 at 8 am MT: I’m bringing with me our inaugural Asian Pacific Islander Native Hawaiian (APINH) Affairs Liaison Carlo James Aragon to discuss rectifying centuries of being overlooked. It’s the first full year our community has a central civic resource since the 1800s, so it’s a REALLY big milestone in New Mexico. It’ll be exciting to hear from Carlo about his plans for the first full year of APINH Affairs.
  • Sign up for my newsletter. Data With Style™ has an ambitious goal to reach 5000 subscribers of cool humans who care about building Tech-For-Good in our new search-to-LLM era.

What’s Next for the Signal

As I wrap up my fellowship this April, I am shifting my focus toward helping mission-oriented companies navigate this “blue ocean” of GEO and equity. The window to build responsible AI evolution is open, but it won’t stay that way for long.

I’m currently workshopping what to call my mailing list. So far, I’m going with “The Signal”. The intention is to build a network of people who are interested in the emerging industry of GEO and how we can use it as Tech-For-Good. In addition to original thought-provoking content, written by me–a human–I’m creating free resources in real time that I’ll be giving away to subscribers.

The Summary: From Insight to Architecture

The era of “Search-to-LLM” is here. You can either be a passenger or the architect.

  • SEO was about being found by humans.
  • GEO is about being synthesized by the machines that humans trust.
  • Restorative Digital Justice ensures that synthesis is equitable.

Subscribe to The Signal

I am looking for my people for Tech-For-Good. It often felt like a lonely journey up to this point, but the signal is finally getting stronger.

Let Me Help You Architect the Future of Your Organization

As I conclude my FUSE Fellowship this April, I am opening select partnerships for ESG-driven companies and startups:

  • Fractional C-Suite (CMO/CSO/CPO): Guiding the transition into responsible AI evolution.
  • Startup Advisory: Navigating the “Blue Ocean” of GEO and machine-readability.
  • Thought Leadership: Available for keynote panels and executive interviews.

How are you ensuring your community’s history is machine-readable in this new era?
